There is a grand alchemy at play in this workshop. When Gary Austin combines his 33 years of improvisational techniques with Carol Fox Prescott's 30 years of training actors, the result is more than the sum of the parts. Spontaneity is the key. Whether the exercises offered require memorized or improvised text, the approach is the same - the students learn to create from deep within their own reality, bringing forth life, humor, emotional depth and endless choices. These two highly evolved teachers work from different masteries toward the same goal. Actors come away with a rich approach to their work where focused creativity and imagination blend easily with the requirements of the form within which they find their freedom.
